Description
A Highland coo, folded up on the ground with her legs tucked under her and a planting well set into her back. The whole surface is worked into long shaggy coat, comb-marked strand by strand, with a heavy fringe falling over her eyes and two neat horns curling up through it. She has the look of an animal entirely content to sit and be admired.
Boba hand-casts each one in artisan cement and finishes it by hand. The antique gold is warm and burnished, catching the light along the ridges of the coat; the antique silver is cooler and pewter-toned, with the raised strands rubbed back to a bright edge; the copper rose is softer and pinker, settling deep into the recesses. Every coo is coloured individually, so no two come out with quite the same weathering.
The well takes a small trailing succulent beautifully - a sedum or string of pearls spilling over her shoulders looks like she has been out in a hedgerow. A lovely gift for anyone with a soft spot for Scotland, or a farmhouse kitchen windowsill.
